April 2019: As part of the cooperation with Action Target, SDV completed a special training in Range Design and Engineering by participating in a 5-day seminar at Action Target’s main office in Provo, Utah.
A team of SDV engineers, specializing in shooting ranges and tactical facilities, attended the seminar/workshop which was specifically setup to enhance technical project cooperation between Action Target and SDV.
Action Target (www.actiontarget.com) designs, manufactures and installs shooting ranges, tactical combat houses and portable steel targets for innovative and versatile firearms training.
February 2019: SDV led a private business delegation in Uzbekistan from 2 to 9 February 2019. The delegation coming from Canada, Switzerland, UAE and USA consisted of:
- Group International Holding (www.groupinternational.ca) a diversified holding and management company
- FMS-Tech (www.fms-tech.com) a pioneer and innovator of in-vehicle-monitoring and on- board computer technology as well as smart cities technology integration
- Securosys (www.securosys.ch) a technology company dedicated to securing data and communications. Securosys produces and distributes hardware, software and services that protect and verify data and their transmission
The companies, each focusing on its business interests, met with different representatives and businesses from the public and private sectors, discussed cooperation potential in several fields including innovative technologies, hotels, agricultural and manufacturing projects.
“Since we opened our Tashkent office in December 2017 we’ve been moving fast to keep up with the accelerated development taking place in the Country. We are happy the delegation left Tashkent with positive feedback and plans to operate in Uzbekistan in the near future”, said Jalal Abdenour, SDV Director.
December 2018: SDV Consulting Engineers in cooperation with the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology (ESMA) and Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) organized and welcomed a Belarusian delegation of 24 persons between 8-15 December, representing major meat processing plants, slaughter-houses, dairy producers and state food authorities. The delegation included the management of the Belarusian State Institute of Metrology, Belarusian State Center of Accreditation, Molochny Mir OJSC, JV Bigan, BelHalal LLC, Mogilev Ice Cream factory, Mikavita OJSC, Vitebsk Meat-Packing Plant OJSC, Belovezhski Meat-Plant OJSC, Brest Meat-Packing Plant OJSC, Himmedsintez LLC, Oshmyany Meat Processing Plant and Tochno Vovremya LLC.
The Delegation visited ESMA headquarters in Dubai where they had a round table with the specialists to discuss the procedures of receiving the needed certificates to start trading with the UAE.
Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority organized a visit to SIAL exhibition where they had a very informative presentation on the food safety requirements of the UAE and on the legal base of the GCC countries overall. ADFCA also organized a visit to Al Ain dairy farms for the delegates to have a closer look at the technologies used in the UAE and to exchange experience. The delegation also had the chance to visit Al Ain poultry farm in order to see the Halal slaughtering procedure.
This delegation important visit is part of SDV initiatives in assisting the Belarusian meat and dairy producers in meeting the UAE import requirements such as the Halal certification.
SDV is grateful to the UAE authorities for their outstanding participation and information provided to the delegation as well as for facilitating the delegation visits to important meat and dairy operations.
May 2018: SDV Consulting Engineers welcomed the participants of the Belarusian Construction Delegation to the United Arab Emirates on 22 May 2018. The delegation included the management of RUE GLAVGOSSTROYEXPERTIZA, OJSC MAPID, CJSC Sky Way. The participants visited few projects completed, or under construction, by SDV in the UAE, primarily:
- K-SHIP Logistics Center with warehouses for cold and dry storage
- Fence International welded mesh factory
During the site visits, parties had detailed discussions and presentations about the technologies applied as well as projects’ permitting procedures & requirements. The delegation noted the high level of the projects visited.
