Job Description

The BDM will participate in developing SDV business in the UAE, bring in new projects, open new markets and expand the existing ones. The BDM will participate in producing winning proposals, develop content, and drive other initiatives to enhance the SDV brand.

Responsibilities

  • Champion the business development initiatives and lead generation activities in close collaboration with management, technical, and administrative teams
  • Research and analyze business development opportunities and monitor bid sites and platforms
  • Create and maintain professional relationships with new, prospective and existing clients
  • Coordinate with the technical team to develop, write and submit winning proposals and then track their status and follow up with clients
  • Develop and maintain marketing materials in close collaboration with the technical team, such as project profiles, presentations, statements of qualifications, brochures, press releases, staff resumes
  • Contribute to the digital marketing strategy design and implementation, support company website updates and social media platforms
  • Maintain a database of relevant conferences and events, as well as plan and organize SDV participation and presence for such events

 

Qualifications

  • A degree in engineering, architecture, business administration or marketing
  • A graduate degree is an asset
  • A proven track record of business development in the industrial and/or oil & gas sectors
  • At least 10 years of related experience in an engineering, architecture, or construction environment of which at least 4 years in the UAE
  • Outstanding communication skills (active listening, verbal and written communication)
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Knowledge of Arabic and/or French is an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to act professionally, be well-organized and proactive, be able to manage multiple priorities with a keen eye for detail

Job Description

The Hydrogen Business Development Specialist will participate in developing SDV Hydrogen business in the UAE, bring in new projects and open new markets. The H2 BD Specialist will participate in producing winning proposals, develop content, and drive other initiatives to enhance SDV brand in the Hydrogen business.

Responsibilities

  • Champion the Hydrogen business development initiatives and lead generation activities in close collaboration with management, technical, and administrative teams
  • Research and analyze Hydrogen business development opportunities and monitor bid sites and platforms
  • Create and maintain professional relationships with new, prospective and existing Hydrogen clients
  • Coordinate with the technical team to develop, write and submit winning proposals and then track their status and follow up with clients
  • Develop and maintain Hydrogen marketing materials in close collaboration with the technical team, such as project profiles, presentations, statements of qualifications, brochures, press releases, staff resumes
  • Develop and maintain feasibility studies related to Hydrogen project in close collaboration with the technical team
  • Contribute to the digital marketing strategy design and implementation, support company website updates and social media platforms
  • Maintain a database of relevant conferences and events, as well as plan and organize SDV participation and presence for such events 

 

Qualifications

  • A degree in engineering, business administration or marketing
  • A graduate degree is an asset
  • A proven track record of business development in the Hydrogen sectors
  • At least 8 years of related experience in Hydrogen and decarbonization
  • Outstanding communication skills (active listening, verbal and written communication)
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Knowledge of Arabic and/or French is an asset
